The Pingshan Library is adjacent to Pingshan Central Park. It holds more than 800 reading seats and provides a collection of 1.2 million books. It has the Starlight Zone, Picture Book Zone, Public Reading and Cultural Experience Zone, Master’s Study, and Music Room. Zhou Guoping, a famous philosopher, writer and scholar, was appointed as the first director of the library. In August 2021, the library won second prize at the Green Library Award presented by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA).
